Sanderson Helps Specialist Crafts Get Creative with an IT Solution
Sanderson, the publicly owned UK provider of IT software and services, has won a contract to supply its Unity mail order solution to Specialist Crafts, the UK’s largest supplier of arts, crafts and hobby materials.
Based in Leicester, Specialist Crafts supply a variety of institutions and educational establishments with innovative, quality products. In the past 3 years the company has more than trebled its turnover. After a comprehensive evaluation of business processes it was decided that a solution was needed to support its continued growth and manage an extensive range of stock, provide full warehouse management and improve customer service.
The Sanderson solution, to be implemented at Specialist Crafts in the UK & Ireland and at sister companies Homecrafts and Berol, will enable the company to manage the entire sales process with a single solution. As well as accommodating a diverse and comprehensive product range, Unity will handle multiple accounts for B2B and B2C clients. The warehouse management facilities will optimise stock control helping drive down costs and improve efficiency throughout the entire organisation.
