Witwood’s production planning process used to be very dependent on the experience and knowledge of individual managers. Sanderson’s MRP module has allowed us to build this experience and knowledge into a “best practice” system that delivers consistent results every time. MRP is also giving a financial payback.

Sanderson, the publicly owned UK provider of software for the food and process industries has won a contract to supply its Small Business Solution (SBS) to leading flavour manufacturer TasteTech Ltd.
Specialising in microencapsulation, TasteTech produce flavours for the food, neutraceutical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. Sanderson SBS will replace a number of systems previously used by TasteTech (including Sage Accounts), providing a single integrated solution to the company’s operational needs.
With an enviable reputation within the industry, TasteTech is currently enjoying a growth in sales and production. The ability of SBS to handle multiple sites as standard, whilst providing detailed company wide management information, will facilitate and support this future growth.
Sanderson SBS will provide TasteTech with enhanced two-way traceability to meet increasing industry demands. By automating processes, the software will also provide a reduction in manual activities, thus reducing the potential for error and ultimately increasing productivity.
In the current climate of increasing regulatory control SBS will enable the uploading of product data into TasteTech’s compliance software package, which facilitates the production of Material Safety Datasheets. SBS will manage this critical process and remove duplication of data entry in this area.
Janis Sinton of TasteTech commented:
“The Sanderson SBS system will streamline our operation by integrating all areas of the business. Added benefits such as the automated generation of Certificates of Analysis (COA) will drive further efficiencies into the company.”
Roger Stares, General Manager of Process Industries at Sanderson concluded:
“A cost effective solution for growing companies, SBS automates all areas of the business resulting in a more efficient operation. SBS will provide a number of immediate benefits to TasteTech Ltd; improved traceability, faster new product development and the availability of essential management information, such as yields and wastage figures, all of which will be key to the company’s continued success.”
