Sanderson Solution Puts SLW On The Road To Big Business

Sanderson supply its entry level Small Business Solution to Scunthorpe Licensed Wholesalers

Sanderson, the publicly owned provider of software solutions for the Delivered Wholesale and Cash & Carry industries, has won a contract to supply its entry level Small Business Solution (SBS) to Scunthorpe Licensed Wholesalers (SLW).

Nisa Today’s member SLW operate a Cash & Carry and Delivered Wholesale business alongside a number of retail shops selling beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. The Cash & Carry previously operated Sage for financials and bespoke systems for warehousing. However these systems were not integrated and resulted in duplication of activities. Sanderson SBS will provide a fully integrated accounts and stock management system.

The accounts package will negate the need for duplicated manual data entry and provide an integrated view of business accounts. This will provide time and cost savings throughout the business.

SBS will allow SLW to manage stock in real-time, enabling stock levels to be accurately measured. Real-time stock management also facilitates efficient purchasing, with the elimination of dead stock increasing cash flow.

SLW will further combine real-time stock management with sales order processing to offer substitute products to customers where original products are out of stock. This will reduce costly missed sales and increase customer service levels.

Bharat Singh, Owner of SLW explains:
“Our previous systems could not cope with our growing business. Our retail stores currently run the Torex Arciris system, which does not integrate with the Cash & Carry.  With Sanderson SBS we now have the opportunity for our retail stores and Cash & Carry to be integrated; enabling us to streamline cross business activity.”

Jackie Taylor, Sales Director for the Wholesale business at Sanderson added:
“Sanderson SBS is an entry level system for smaller businesses; its modular design allows SBS to grow in line with SLW’s business. As a Nisa Today’s member SLW will also benefit from the twice yearly User Group held by Nisa for Sanderson customers. The User Group gives Sanderson customers the opportunity to meet other system users and share information and best practice. We look forward to working with SLW.”
