The implementation was really very painless and easy. Very little work was needed prior to implementation and use of the system was quickly adopted. After a few weeks we completely stopped the printing of any Purchase Orders promoting savings in both time and paper. It has been a real success.

Food Industry Seminars

Sanderson recently held a series of ‘Food Focus’ seminars in partnership with IBM across the UK. The free half day events focused on issues surrounding compliance and how this could act as the catalyst to increasing business efficiency and profitability.

Keynote speaker Philip Ashurst, a Food Industry Consultant, explained how new and recent legislation impacts upon all food companies in the supply chain – whether manufacturers, distributors or packers. In addition, John Butcher, Factory Manager for Witwood Food Products, gave a ‘real world’ example of how Witwood have addressed their compliance issues whilst also increasing their profitability in the process.
