Sanderson lands Kingfisher Ltd

Proven solutions for business success

Sanderson, the publicly owned UK provider of software solutions for the food and drink industries, has won a contract to supply its Formul8 solution to fresh fish and seafood supplier Kingfisher Ltd.

Operating close to the busy fishing port of Brixham on the Devon coast, Kingfisher supply fresh fish and seafood to restaurants and hotels across the country. Produce is bought daily from the harbour side fish market, then brought back to Kingfisher’s premises where it is prepared for sale to the catering trade.

Kingfisher selected the Sanderson solution to replace previous systems such as Sageline 50, spreadsheets and other manual processes which were unable to support the growing business. The Sanderson solution was chosen over other leading software for its ability to integrate all business processes whilst enhancing traceability.

The Sanderson system will automate each area of the Kingfisher business, from the purchase of stock to delivery of products. The system will increase visibility of information to all staff, thus providing a platform for improving customer service levels.
